Prep: 2 minutes; Cook: 15 minutes. Bring the water for the pasta to a boil, and let the pasta cook while you brown the beef. Ingredients:
1 pound ground round |
2 cups pasta sauce |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
3 cups hot cooked fusilli (about 6 ounces uncooked pasta) |
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella or reduced-fat cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook beef in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned, stirring to crumble. Drain and return beef to pan. 2. Add pasta sauce, salt, and pepper; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add pasta; cook 2 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; cook 1 minute or until cheese melts. |
