Entered for safe-keeping, from Favorite Brand Name Best Loved Chinese Recipes & More . This is Chinese-style , but definitely a U.S. version. This should be very mild, suitable for children. Rice can substitute for the egg noodles. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon vegetable oil |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 lb lean ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey |
16 ounces frozen cut green beans, thawed |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup walnut pieces |
8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and drained |
Directions:
1. In large skillet, heat oil and garlic over medium heat, about 30 seconds. 2. Add beef and beans; sprinkle with salt. Mix well. 3. Cook 5 minutes or until beef is well browned, stirring occasionally. 4. Stir in walnuts; cook 2 minutes more. 5. Serve over hot cooked egg noodles. |
