This is from the Diana Liu cookbook. We love this one. Ingredients:
1/2 lb shredded beef |
2 medium sized onions, shredded |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 tablespoon sherry wine |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
6 tablespoons oil |
Directions:
1. Marinate shredded beef in soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry, and sesame oil for 30 minutes. 2. Heat 3 Tblsp. oil in frying pan until hot. 3. Stir-fry onions until light brown, about 4 minutes. 4. Add salt; remove from pan; set aside. 5. Heat 3 more Tblsp. oil in frying pan until hot; stir-fry beef 3 minutes. 6. Add onions and stir-fry one more minute. 7. Serve hot. |
