2 cup(s) celery diced |
2 tablespoon(s) garlic minced |
4 pound(s) ground chuck browned/drained |
2 can(s) tomatoes diced |
1 can(s) mushrooms sliced |
1 bag(s) frozen spinach chopped |
1 bag(s) frozen potatoes diced |
1 bag(s) frozen carrots sliced |
1 bag(s) frozen corn |
1 bag(s) frozen green beans |
1 bag(s) frozen peas |
1 bag(s) frozen broccoli florettes |
2 cup(s) barley uncooked |
2 cup(s) pasta uncooked |
8 box(es) beef broth |

Directions:
1. Fresh vegetables: 2. In a large stock pot, add olive oil to cover bottom of pot 3. Add onions, celery & garlic 4. Add salt & pepper to taste 5. Saute until vegetables are soft 6. Meat: 7. In a large saute pan, add ground chuck 8. Add salt & pepper to taste 9. Cook until meat is brown 10. Combine sauteed vegetable & ground chuck in stock pot 11. Add sliced muchrooms & diced tomatoes 12. Defrost chopped spinach in microwave, & add 13. Add remaining frozen vegetables; potatoes, carrots, corn, green beans, peas, & broccoli 14. Add barley, pasta, basil & bay leaves 15. Combine ingredients thoroughly 16. Add enough beef brooth until all ingredients are covered 17. Taste & add additional seasonings if needed 18. Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally |
