Ingredients:
6 cup(s) beef broth |
1 yellow onion chopped |
2 red potatoes chopped |
6 carrots chopped |
1 cup(s) peas |
3 celery stalks |
1 cup(s) red wine |
1 garlic pod minced |
beef |
beef shank or ham hoc |
any other veggie |
1 ear of corn |
2 can(s) tomato sauce |
4 tomatoes chopped and peeled |
Directions:
1. Sauté beef in pot until brown on all sides. Remove from pot. Sauté celery, garlic, and onion. Add tomatoes, broth, tomato sauce, and beef shank and bring to a boil. Add remaining veggies bring back to a boil and then cover and simmer for hours. 2. Serve with French bread. |
