I love this stew, and it is even better the next day. Ingredients:
2 lbs stewing beef |
2 tsp pepper |
6 med. potatoes |
1 tbsp ketchup |
1 med. onion |
2 tsp worcestershire sauce |
1/2 pkg baby carrots |
2 tsp garlic |
5 c water |
1 tsp salt |
2 celery stock |
2 tsp kitchen bouquet |
5 tsp beef bouillon |
2 tsp meat tenderizer |
5 tbsp corn starch |
1 tsp basil |
2 tsp parsley |
1/4 c flour |
Directions:
1. Cut stewing beef in small cube pieces 2. Sprinkle meat tenderizer let stand for 30 min. 3. In plastic bag add flour and pepper coat meat pour into slow cooker 4. Add water, basil, parsley, ketchup ,Worcestershire sauce, beef bouillon, kitchen bouquet, Salt & garlic 5. Chop up onions, carrots, celery & potatoes add to slow cooker. 6. Scoop out 2 cups of liquid in bowl add corn starch mix well till smooth, pour back into pot. Pepper to taste 7. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours |
