We didn't have fresh parsley or chopped mint (optional), but it turned out okay. We used a bit of Italian seasoning (dried mixed herbs) and Johnny's Seasoning Salt to substitute the Mixed Spice, salt, and pepper. Ingredients:
2 tbsp margarine (canola oil) |
450 g minced beef |
10 ml (2 tsp) chopped parsley |
4 tbsp rice, cooked |
1/2 onion, skinned and grated |
1 pinch dried mixed herbs |
1 pinch ground mixed spice (all spice / pumpkin pie spice) |
500 ml stock |
12 cabbage leaves |
1 salt and pepper |
