These make great appetizers any time. Ingredients:
3/4 lb lean ground beef |
1/4 cup onion, chopped |
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1 dash sugar |
2 (8 ounce) containers refrigerated crescent dinner rolls |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. In large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. 2. Stir in the pickle relish, garlic, salt, chili powder, pepper and sugar; set aside. 3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. 4. Cut each in half lengthwise, forming two triangles. 5. Place 1 T beef mixture and some cheese along the wide end of each triangle, carefully roll up. 6. Place point side down 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. 7. Bake at 375 degrees for 11-15 minutes or until golden brown. 8. Serve warm. |
