Stroganoff is a wonderful dish for guests; it is rich and creamy, but is simply and quickly prepared. Traditionally it is served with a rice pilaf, but is equally good over plain rice or egg noodles. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
1 1/2 pounds sirloin tip, cut into thin slices |
1 onion, chopped |
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef and the onions; cook until the meat is browned and the onion tender. 2. Stir in sour cream, and heat through. Do not boil. |
