Beef Stew - Quick and Tasty |

My husband loves Dinty Moore Beef Stew, and this is my fresh version of it. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
3 lbs sirloin steaks |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
salt and pepper |
1/2 large sweet onion, chopped |
2 large carrots, chopped |
8 small yukon gold potatoes, halved |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup |
Directions:
1. 1. Cut steak into large, bite-sized pieces. 2. 2. Heat oil in a heavy cooking pot. 3. 3. Add steak to oil, and saute until cooked through. 4. 4. Stir in soy sauce, salt and pepper. 5. 5. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well. 6. 6. Simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. 7. 7. Serve with cooked rice or noodles. |
