Its the best easy to prepare and best tasting beef soup in the philippines. good when its during rainy seasons, good when you have hang over, good when your not feeling well.
Ingredients:
3/4 kg beef small ribs cut into squares
1 small cabbage chopped into four
3 medium sized potatoes
1 medium sized onion
1 chinese cabbage
5 pcs. plantains(saging na saba)
black pepper
salt
Directions:
1. Boil beef ribs for two hours, with water just over the beef
2. add black pepper, and 1 tbps salt to taste
3. once it boils, turn stove into minimum heat
4. after 90 mins put in chopped potatoes, chopped plantains
5. add 1 1/2 glass water
6. boil for 15 mins
7. add chopped cabbages(remove hard part at the middle), chinese cabbages (w/o stem), onion chopped into halves.
8. lower down heat to minimum, wait five minutes
9. season to taste
10. serve very hot, and steamy...

12. prepare your fish sauce with lime or calamansi
