This beef stew recipe is so easy to put together in the crockpot for dinner. It is delicious and we never have any left overs in our family Ingredients:
1 1/2 to 2 pounds of stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes |
1/4 cup flour |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 1/2 cups beef broth |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1 bay leaf |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
3 carrots, sliced |
3 potatoes, diced |
1 to 2 onions, chopped |
1 stalk celery, sliced |
2 teaspoons kitchen bouquet, optional |
Directions:
1. Place meat in crockpot. Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat; stir to coat meat with flour. 2. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. 3. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or high for 4 to 6 hours. Stir stew thoroughly before serving. |
