Delicious beef stew that can be made with beef or venison. It has a hint of sweetness that makes it very unique. Enjoy! Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat |
1 onion, chopped |
6 carrots, sliced |
2 celery ribs, sliced |
28 ounces diced tomatoes, canned |
8 potatoes, cubed |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 tablespoon salt |
4 tablespoons minute tapioca (add more for thicker gravy) |
Directions:
1. Do not brown meat. 2. Place all ingredients in a large roaster and cover. 3. Bake at 250 for five hours, stirring two or three times during cooking process. |
