26 ounces beef, cubed |
3 potatoes, pared and quartered |
2 onions, chopped |
2 stalks celery, sliced |
1 bay leaf |
2 tablespoons salt |
1/4 tablespoon pepper |
3 cups water or 3 cups broth |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a baking dish or casserole. Stir to blend thoroughly. Add water to cover, approx 2-3 cups. 2. Cover dish with lid or foil. 3. Place on rack. 4. Set thermostat at 150 deg c or 300 deg f and cook 2-3 hours. |
