Beef Steak Adobada with Potatoes |

Ingredients:
1 pound(s) beef steak |
1/2 teaspoon(s) dried oregano |
1 clove(s) garlic |
3 large dried guajillo peppers |
1 tablespoon(s) meat tenderizer |
1 tablespoon(s) meat tenderizer |
olive oil |
salt |
1 teaspoon(s) vinegar |
1 cup(s) water |
5-7 whole black peppers |
Directions:
1. - Wash, dry, pound thin and sprinkle beef with tenderizer. 2. - Cut stems and shake out seeds from guajillo peppers 3. - Combine guajillo pepper, water and vinegar in small pot over med heat until peppers are soft. 4. - Empty pan contents into blender, add oregano, garlic, whole black peppers and salt. Blend until smooth. 5. - Marinate steak with Adobada sauce for about 1 hour. 6. - Steam red potatoes, peel and chop into squares 7. - Fry steak in oil over medium heat until desired temperature combining potatoes to absorb marinate mixture. 8. Serve with refried beans and rice 9. Optional side: avocado chopped with cucumbers, salt, serano pepper and onion. |
