Beef Roast and Noodles

Ingredients:
3 -3 1/2 boneless beef chuck roast
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules or 1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 bay leaves
2 cups onions, sliced to rings
1/2 cup catsup
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup raisins
4 cups hot cooked egg noodles
Directions:
1. Coat meat with flour.
2. Brown meat on Dutch oven with 2 tbsp oil.
3. Add buillon granules and 1 1/4 cups hot water.
4. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
5. Add bay leaves for 3 minutes the remove.
6. Discard.
7. Stir together catsup, brown sugar and lemon juice.
8. Pour over meat.
9. Sprinkle with raisins and cover.
10. Continue baking 30-45 minutes until meat is tender.
11. Serve with hot cook egg noodles.
