The Blue Plate Special! Good, tasty, comfort food. Never met a soul that didn't like this. Ingredients:
1 egg |
2 teaspoons minced onions |
1/4 cup italian breadcrumbs |
1 teaspoon prepared mustard |
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1 (12 ounce) jar beef gravy |
1/2 cup water |
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish |
1/2 lb sliced fresh mushrooms |
Directions:
1. In lg. 2. bowl, beat egg; stir in onion, breadcrumbs and mustard. 3. Add beef and mix well. 4. Shape into 4 patties. 5. Cook in ungreased skillet for 5 minutes on each side. 6. Drain. 7. In small bowl, mix gravy, water, horseradish and mushrooms. 8. Pour over patties in pan. 9. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes. |
