Beef Patties With Cream Sauce |

Another one that the guys ask for a lot. Ingredients:
1 egg |
1/4 cup milk |
2 tablespoons catsup |
1/2 cup quick oats |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 1/4 lbs ground beef |
3 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth |
2/3 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350*. 2. In lg bowl, mix first 8 ingredients; mix well. 3. Add beef and mix well. 4. Form 8 patties. 5. Roll in flour. 6. Place on greased baking pans. 7. Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes; turn and bake 10 more minutes. 8. SAUCE: Melt butter in saucepan. 9. Stir in flour, thyme, salt and pepper. 10. Slowly add broth and milk; bring to a boil. 11. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. 12. Serve over patties. |
