8 ounces medium noodles |
1 -1 1/2 lb ground beef |
1 tablespoon oil |
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 cup cottage cheese |
8 ounces cream cheese |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
2 tablespoons chopped green peppers |
2 tablespoons melted butter |
parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook noodles, rinse and drain. 2. Brown meat in oil. 3. Stir in tomato sauce and worcestershire sauce. 4. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, onions, pepper, then beat. 5. Spread half of noodles in a 2-quart greased casserole or baking dish. 6. Build layers of cheese, meat, and noodles until all are used or casserole is filled. 7. Pour butter over top, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. 8. Let stand about 10 minutes before serving. |
