A co-worker gave this to me. I love how simple it is for those busy nights. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
2 tablespoons butter |
garlic powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 dash pepper |
1.5 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (7 ounce) package flat noodles |
6 green onions with tops, chopped |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Cook beef in butter until browned and crumbly. 2. Add garlic powder, salt, sugar, pepper, & sauce. 3. Simmer over low heat. 4. Cook noodles and drain. 5. Combine onions, cream cheese & sour cream. 6. Grease 2 quart casserole. 7. Alternate layers of noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce. 8. Sprinkle top with grated cheese. 9. Bake at 350 for 15-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. |
