Beffy, noodles and cheese The kids really dig into this. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
12 ounces tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 cup cottage cheese |
1 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup sliced green onion |
8 ounces cooked and drained egg noodles |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, drain. 2. Add sauce and next 4 ingredients. 3. Bring to a boil. 4. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. 5. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, and green onions. 6. Fold in the noodles. 7. In greased 3 qt baking dish, layer half the noodles and half the meat. 8. Repeat layers. 9. Cover and bake at 350* for 35 minutes. 10. Uncover, sprinkle with cheese, and bake 5 minutes more. |
