I've not tried this yet, but I will very soon! I don't want to lose this!!! Found in TOH Comfort Foods Recipes Ingredients:
3 lbs beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes, trim fat |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground mustard |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 large onion, chopped |
2 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained |
1 (15 ounce) can ranch style beans or 1 (15 ounce) can chili beans, undrained |
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained |
Directions:
1. Place the beef in a 3-quart slow cooker. 2. Combine the brown sugar, mustard, salt, paprika, chili powder and pepper; sprinkle over beef and toss to coat. 3. Top with onion, tomatoes, beans, and corn. 4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender. |
