Beef N Bean Burritos Or Dip |

This is a great recipe that comes together quickly and is very easy The filling is also great baked in the oven with cheese on top for dip, served with the same garnishes as with burritos. This is a guessipe as it is one of my own creations, and I have never measured. Read more .... Ingredients:
2 lbs 93% lean ground beef |
1 med white onion, chopped |
1 red or yellow pepper, chooped |
1 can green chiles, drained |
2 t. chili poweder |
1 t. cumin |
2 t. chopped garlic |
1/4 t. cayenne pepper |
seasoned salt |
garlic pepper |
1 large can refried beans |
1 jar pace thick n chunky salsa |
flour tortillas |
garnishes: sliced black olives, sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped tomato, jalepeno slices, shredded lettuce |
Directions:
1. Crumble ground beef in large skillet 2. Whilte beef is browning, add onion, pepper, all seasonings, and chiles 3. Once meat has cooked through, transfer to large pot, if needded 4. Add beans and 1/2 jar salsa 5. Cook on stovetop, adding salsa if needed for consistency 6. While misture is cooking, chop/fix all garnishes 7. Serve buffet style, letting everyone fix their own burrito according to their tastes 8. *TO SERVE AS DIP: Pour cooked mixture into large casserole dish. Cover with shredded cheese. Bake until bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips and same garnishes. |
