From the umami information center. Recipe attributed to Yoshihiro Takahashi, a 15th generation chef. Ingredients:
8 ounces filet of beef |
2 ounces sun-dried tomatoes |
4 ounces sake |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Soak tomatoes in Saki for half a day. Sprinkle salt beef with salt and set aside for a half-hour. Place into zip lock bag with tomatoes and Saki and marinate 24 hours. Grill on all sides to desired doneness. |
