Great for left over roast beef or a cooked pot roast or any cooked beef will do. Makes tasty Sandwiches. Ingredients:
cooked roast beef |
4 green peppers, sliced |
1 teaspoon oregano |
4 ounces canned mushrooms (optional) |
2 fresh tomatoes, chopped |
1/4 teaspoon basil |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 cup beef broth |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Shred meat with fork; saving all juices. 2. Combine all ingredientsd in pot and simmer 40-45 minutes. 3. Serve on hard rolls. |
