Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or margarine |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
2 cups beef broth |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
pinch of red pepper |
4 cups cooked, chopped roast beef |
indian griddle cakes |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large, heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add beef broth; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Add next 5 ingredients, mixing well. Serve hot over Indian Griddle Cakes. |
