A family favorite! I like it because its quick and easy Ingredients:
1 (3 lb) beef chuck roast |
2 cups water |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1 teaspoon rosemary |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 bay leaf |
3 -4 peppercorns |
8 french rolls |
Directions:
1. Place roast in slow cooker. 2. Add water, soy sauce,rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, bay leaf, peppercorns. 3. Cover and cook for 5-6 hours on high or until beef is tender. 4. Remove meat from broth, shred with forks and keep warm. 5. Strain broth. Pour broth into cups for dipping. Serve beef on rolls. |
