This is one of my Grandma's recipe's that I have enjoyed since I was little... it sounds kinda funny but it is AMAZING!!! And I'm picky! Hope everyone enjoys it!!! Ingredients:
1 lb boneless beef roast (1/2 inch squares) |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 small cauliflower head (separated) |
1 green bell pepper (3/4 inch pieces) |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
1 garlic clove (minced) |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1 1/2 cups beef broth |
1 cup green onion |
3 cups rice |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in butter for about 5 minutes. 2. Add cauliflower, green pepper, soy sauce and garlic. Stir lightly to coat vegetables with soy sauce. Cover and simmer vegetables until barely tender (about 10 minutes). 3. In a separate bowl blend cornstarch, sugar and broth. Add to meat mixture with green onions. 4. Cook Stirring constantly until thoroughly heated and sauce is thickened. 5. Serve over a bed of rice. |
