I received this recipe from a friend and it became a favorite immediately. Hardly any preparation time makes it handy when you don't have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs stewing beef |
2 boxes whole mushrooms |
1 package dry onion soup mix |
2 cans condensed golden mushroom soup |
1 3/4 cups burgundy wine |
Directions:
1. Put raw beef in bottom of a large heavy pan. 2. Cut mushrooms as desired and add. 3. Add rest of ingredients. 4. (do not stir) Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3 hrs. 5. Do not peek! 6. Serve over noodles or rice if desired. |
