Combine budget-friendly ground chuck with chopped onion, celery, and parsley for the burger patties. Because ground chuck has more fat than extra-lean ground beef, you don't have to worry about the patties sticking to the grill. Ingredients:
l 3 lb. ground chuck |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 celery stalk, finely chopped |
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley |
salt and pepper |
8 hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. Combine ground chuck, onion, celery and parsley in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Stir just to blend with a spoon or your hands; do not overwork mixture. Form into 8 patties. Chill until ready to use. Prepare a charcoal fire or set a gas grill to medium-high. Cook burgers, turning once, 8 minutes for medium-rare. Serve on warm toasted buns. |
