Another addition to the 1992 cookbook Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 tablespoon fat |
1/2 cup minced onion |
1/4 cup chopped green pepper |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar |
6 -8 hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in fat. Add onion, green pepper and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients, except buns. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Serve with sliced dill pickle on toasted buns. |
