I feel silly posting this, as it uses a recipe base, but it was in a magazine, and I want to try it out, so I thought I'd put it here. I have not tried it yet. Ingredients:
500 g blade steaks, cubed |
1 onion, cut into wedges |
1 1/2 cups mushrooms, halved |
2 tablespoons tomato paste |
1 (45 g) packet maggi seasoning, beef bourguignon recipe mix |
1 cup water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 200°C Combine steak, onion, and mushrooms in an ovenproof dish. Stir in tomato paste. 2. Combine water and recipe mix in a jug and pour over beef mixture. 3. Cover dish with lid. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until steak is tender, stirring twice during cooking. |
