This is another quick yet elegant way to start your dinner party or holiday meal. It's very straightforward and simple, and is guaranteed to please. Ingredients:
2 (13 3/4 ounce) cans beef broth |
1 (3 ounce) can sliced mushrooms |
1/2 lb ground beef, cooked, drained and crumbled |
1/2 cup dry red wine (preferably burgundy) |
1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup medium egg noodles |
sour cream, for garnish |
Directions:
1. In saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring. Reduce heat. 2. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Garnish with sour cream before serving. |
