great tasting easy soup for leftover roast beef Ingredients:
8 c. water |
1-2 tsp s&p |
1-2 bay leaves |
1 tsp basil |
1/4 c chopped onion |
1 sm (8 oz) can tomato sauce |
3-4 medium potatos chopped to desired size |
3 carrots chopped to desired size |
3-4 stalks celery chopped |
1/2 c. barley |
left over roast beef or cubed stew meat |
Directions:
1. Combine all and bring to boil. Turn to low and simmer for 3-4 hours 2. Serve with corn bread or biscuits |
