1 1/2 pounds lean beef, cut for stewing |
1 cup celery, diced |
1/2 large red onion, diced |
8 ounces white mushrooms or crimini mushrooms, sliced |
1/2 lb carrots, sliced |
3 cloves garlic, crushed |
1 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1 tablespoon salt |
4 cups beef broth |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 cup pearl barley |
Directions:
1. Dice or slice all ingredients into bite-size chunks. 2. Peel & crush garlic. 3. Place all ingredients in crock pot 4. Cook on low about 7-8 hours |
