Wonderful slow simmered but easy curry. delicious over rice Ingredients:
i lb stewing beef |
4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced |
3 carrots peeles and diced |
4 onions diced |
4 tomatoes peeled and seeded (or use a small can of tomatoes) |
1 cup corn |
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms |
1 can tomato soup |
1 beef bullion cube crushed |
spices : adjust these to taste to make it milder, hotter, however you like. |
4 tbsp curry powder |
1 tbsp cayenne pepper |
1 tsp tumeric |
1 tsp pepper |
1 tsp paprika |
1 tsp salt |
water to barely cover |
Directions:
1. Put beef, and vegetables into large heavy bottomed pot. 2. Add tomato soup 3. sprinkle bullion and spices over top 4. Pour enough water to just cover 5. Bring to boil over medium heat 6. Lower until it barely simmers 7. Cook for about 8 hours stirring occasionally until it thickens 8. Serve over rice. |
