This is a recipe that I picked up from our local grocery store, HEB. This is a very simple recipe that works great for those that want to make ahead of time to freeze for a later date. Also tricks those picky kids into eating some vegetables! Ingredients:
1 lb cooked ground beef |
8 ounces cream cheese |
14 ounces spaghetti sauce |
10 ounces frozen chopped spinach |
16 ounces thin spaghetti, cooked |
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. In a large microwave safe dish, combine beef, cream cheese and spaghetti sauce. Microwave on high at 5 minute intervals until cream cheese is melted and stirred. 3. Spray a 9 x 13 inch casserole pan. 4. In a large bowl toss thawed spinach, spaghetti and meat sauce. 5. Pour spaghetti mixture into casserole pan and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. 6. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. |
