Beef and Mushroom Stew

Ingredients:
1 lb lean beef round steak, cubed
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup dry white wine
8 ounces mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon dried italian seasoning
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup cold water
salt and pepper
8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and kept warm
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt and pepper in slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
3. Turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes; stir in combined cornstarch and water, stirring 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
4. Serve over noodles.
