1 lb lean beef round steak, cubed |
2 cups beef broth |
1/2 cup dry white wine |
8 ounces mushrooms, thinly sliced |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 tablespoon dried italian seasoning |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 cup cold water |
salt and pepper |
8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and kept warm |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt and pepper in slow cooker. 2. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. 3. Turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes; stir in combined cornstarch and water, stirring 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 4. Serve over noodles. |
