From Alex Jamieson's Great American Detox Diet. I like to omit the fennel seeds, because I don't like their flavor, but they're supposed to be good for the kidneys, liver, lungs, and digestion. Ingredients:
4 cups water |
1 teaspoon dried chamomile or 1 teaspoon fresh dried chamomile |
1 teaspoon dried lavender |
1 teaspoon dried mint or 1 teaspoon fresh mint |
1 teaspoon fennel seed |
1 teaspoon dried lemon balm or 1 teaspoon fresh lemon balm |
Directions:
1. Boil the water. 2. Steep the remaining ingredients for 5-15 minutes. 3. Strain, and drink before bedtime. |
