Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
4 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
3 cups milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 pinch nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium-low heat. 2. Whisk in flour and cook 3 minutes. 3. Whisk in milk and bring to boil, stirring. 4. Add salt and nutmeg. 5. Reduce heat; simmer until thick enough to coat back of spoon. |
