This elegant side is a great accompaniment to pork tenderloin or a grilled skinless chicken breast. Try this recipe tonight using Becel® Buttery Taste, with irresistible flavor and 80% less saturated fat than butter. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley |
2 teaspoons grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon rind |
3/4 pound asparagus, trimmed |
2 large shallots, cut into thin wedges |
1 tablespoon becel® buttery taste* margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Combine parsley, cheese and lemon peel in small bowl; set aside. Toss asparagus, shallots and Becel® Buttery Taste margarine in 13 x 9-inch roasting pan. Roast 15 minutes or until tender. Arrange asparagus mixture on serving platter, then top with cheese mixture. Season, if desired, with freshly ground black pepper. |
