It is important not to serve the cake for four days. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2-6 oz pkg frozen coconut |
2 cups sour cream |
1 box yellow cake mix |
Directions:
1. The night before baking the yellow cake, combine sugar, sour cream and coconut and store in refrigerator. 2. The next morning prepare the cake and bake in two layers by package directions. Cool completely after removing from pans. Split each cake layer to make two layers (a total of four layers). Fill and frost with sour cream mixture. Store in refrigerator and do not cut for four days. |
