Ingredients:
1 pound(s) ground beef |
2 green onions, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 28-ounce can(s) baked beans, drained |
1/2 cup(s) barbecue sauce |
1/4 cup(s) packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup(s) ketchup |
1 tablespoon(s) prepared mustard |
1 4 1/2-ounce tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits |
1/2 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. • In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain. Add the beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, ketchup and mustard. Simmer for 5 minutes or until heated through. 2. • Transfer to a greased 11-in. x 7-in. baking dish. Separate biscuits and cut in half; arrange over beef mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 18 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 2-3 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Yield: 4-6 servings. |
