This does not have chickpeas in it. (my husband cannot have them) It is from a raw cookbook, and is supposed to taste very similar. Ingredients:
2 zucchini, peeled and chopped |
3/4 cup tahini |
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice |
1/4 cup olive oil |
4 garlic cloves, peeled (i usually do 3) |
2 1/2 teaspoons sea salt |
1/2 tablespoon ground cumin |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and puree in a blender or processor until smooth. |
