Serving size depends on how many seconds you have. This is a really good soup, reminds me alot of the canned Campbells Bean and Bacon Soup. Hope you enjoy as much as we do. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups dry navy beans |
6 1/2 cups water |
1/4 lb link sausage, diced (or use a meaty ham bone) |
3 tablespoons shredded carrot |
3 tablespoons green onion |
1 beef bouillon cube |
1/2 cup canned condensed tomato soup |
1 1/2 teaspoon salt |
dash of pepper |
1 tablespoon instant mashed potato granules |
Directions:
1. Combine Beans, Water, Tomatoe Soup, Sausage, Carrot, Green Onions and Bouillon Cube. Bring to boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer 2 hours or longer. 2. When the soup is done, add the instant potatoes, they will thicken it and make it look like the Campbells Bean and Bacon Soup. |
