From my collection. Ingredients:
2 (15 ounce) cans garbanzo beans |
1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans, undrained |
4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced |
1 large onion, thinly sliced |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled |
1 lb cross-cut beef shank |
1/2 lb smoked ham hock |
3 -4 ounces polish sausage or 3 -4 ounces knockwurst, thinly sliced |
2 1/2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in Crock-Pot, stir well. 2. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 16 hours or on High for 4 to 6 hours. |
