A bean dip overloaded with cheese and given a kick with jalapeno peppers and picante sauce. A crowd favorite! Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef |
1 (16 oz) can refried beans |
1 (11 oz) can condensed cheese soup |
1/2 pound processed cheese food, in cubes |
1 (16 oz) jar picante sauce |
1 (12 oz) jar jalapeno peppers, sliced |
Directions:
1. Cook ground beef in a large, deep skillet, over medium-high heat, until browned evenly. Then drain and put in a large, heavy saucepan along with refried beans, condensed cheese soup, processed cheese, Picante sauce, and jalapeno peppers. Cook on high heat until it comes to a boil, then reduce to low. Stir constantly, and cook until the mixture is melted and bubbling. |
