Make your own and taste the diffrence! Good!
Ingredients:
1 can refried beans regular
1 jalapeno pepper, more if your brave
1 teaspoon cumin, or more to taste
1/2 teaspoon, more or less to taste
1/4 cup minced onion
1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
3-4 slices bacon minced fine
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Saute your bacon in a heavy fry pan, I use cast.
2. Remove bacon, leave grease.
3. Add the onion and cook until soft
4. Add the jalapeno and stir for a few minutes.. do not brown
5. add the garlic and do not brown
6. Stir in your refried beans...
7. add just enough water to be able to mix
8. Add the cumin and chili and stir
9. Keep stirring until all bubbley
10. Salt to taste..
11. Serve with homemade tortilla chips....
12. After learning to make this... we never buy the prepared.
13. Were spoiled by the real thing.
