Bdogschneebys Blanched Tomatoes

Saving hundreds of tomatoes for the Fall/Winter/Spring.
Ingredients:
10 -20 tomatoes
3 gallons boiling water
Directions:
1. -Clean the Tomatoes.
2. -Fill large pot with water, bring to a boil.
3. -Fill large bowl with cold water.
4. -Place some tomatoes into the boiling water.
5. -Stir them around 1-3 minutes, until you start to see the skin peel. (Even if the skin is not peeling pull them from the hot water).
6. -Place all tomatoes in the bowl of cold water, let them cool.
7. -Take a knife and gouge out the stem, both ends.
8. -Pull off the skin of the tomato, remove the seeds if you would like.
9. -Quarter remaining, skinless tomato, place in a ziplock freezer bag.
10. -Label the bag.
