These make a good lunch with sliced pickle and onions on the bun. Throw some chips on your plate and eat up!! (Great way to use up leftover turkey!) Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped |
2 teaspoons vegetable oil |
1 cup chili sauce |
3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
3 tablespoons water |
3 cups leftover turkey, shredded |
6 hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, cook chopped onion in oil until tender. 2. Stir in chili sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and water. 3. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes. 4. Stir in cooked, shredded turkey. 5. Serve over hamburger buns. |
